Mark Norrander returns to Gallery Fraga with new work in egg tempera that explores four different subjects: Bainbridge Island, Yakima River, Moonrise, and Sunrise. This is Mark’s second show at the gallery and almost two years in the making. He has been working with egg tempera for more than ten years.

Egg tempera painting, which involves mixing egg yolk and powered pigment, is the second oldest painting medium, dating back to 400 AD. Andrew Wyeth’s “Christina’s World” is one of the most famous contemporary examples of this ancient—yet rarely seen—art form.

You'll find additional work by Mark Norrander here.
