The first thing you notice about Christine Reimer’s paintings are the colors: they’re bold, assertive, and strong—just like the landscapes she paints. The established British Columbia artist is recognized for her colorful interpretation of coastal and rural landscapes, vineyards, and townscapes in the United States, Canada, France, and Italy.

“Color, movement, and texture created by the brushstrokes are vital elements in my paintings,” says Reimer. “I begin with a fairly defined composition; the image evolves as I paint. I strive to create energy with the colors and images that can be experienced by the viewer.”

Christine’s work can be found in numerous corporate and private collections.
